Kendrick Lamar, voted #1 on MTV’s Hottest MCs list, is having a hard time keeping details of his latest remix off of the Internet. Kendrick Lamar aka K. Dot, confirmed that none other than Jay-Z will be on the remix for “B*tch, Don’t Kill My Vibe.” The Internet has been blazing with gossip ever since Jay-Z’s recording engineer, Young Guru played a preview while DJing at Austin’s (Texas) Fader Fort, SXSW Festival. Check out the attached clip below, because the biggest question creating the buzz is, “who spit the hotter verse?” Personally, I am reserving opinion until the official release. What I’ll leave you with is this, before signing his deal with Aftermath Entertainment, Interscope Records (first independently with Top Dawg), Kendrick Lamar had a meeting with Jay-Z and Def Jam while Jay-Z was the label’s president. Think about that feeling a baseball player has when he gets a game-winning hit against the team that traded them. Or the basketball player who hits the game-winning shot to knock their former team out of the playoffs. That would inspire my thoughts to pen some fire!
This is WHAT’S HOT IN HIP HOP! IF IT’S NOT HERE IT’S NOT HOT!
