The 3rd Annual Atlanta Underground Music Awards (A.U.M.A) is taking place and will be recording live on Sunday September 22, 2013 at SPACE 1310 White Street SW Atlanta, GA. Red Carpet start at 5:15 pm – 6:45 pm Awards – promptly 7:15 pm. We expect over one thousand in attendance over the four day weekend. This year theme is “Passing the Torch” this four day weekend will be a star-studded mega musical show with performances by the nominees, featured major label acts and appearances by film and fashion celebrities.The A.U.M.A is proud to honor our recipients, both celebrity and Independent nominees for the 3rd Annual Atlanta Underground Music Awards. These honorees and nominees are noted as some of the most influential in the Georgia Music scene and their communities. It is our hope that the honor bestowed upon our recipients will continue to encourage them and their communities they inspire to strive for excellence in the spirit of Georgia Music. We are happy too announce this year partnership for the A.U.M.A is SPACE ATLANTA, Unsigned Music Academy, ‘A’ Townz Record Pool, Free Citi Media, A’SPE Magazine and the Georgia Record Pool.
The A.U.M.A was created to acknowledge and honor the achievements of unsigned independent artists, producers, djs and many others. The show honors those who have made a significant impact over the past years and have contributed specifically to the development of the Georgia’s Independent Music Scene. Remember this is a family friendly and Formal Attire affair! If you have a film crew or photography, they must be approved prior to coming into the theater.
All proceeds from the Awards Show will benefit Atlanta Unsigned Music Academy; Donations will be accepted at the door or you can make a donation online. If you would like to invite someone — Tickets are available for sale Now, They can purchase tickets on the A.U.M.A website.
