On Thursday November 21st, in association with Spoons and Forks Clothing, Antwan “Amadeus” Thompson stopped by the Harlem Children’s Zone to speak with  young adults that aspired to be in the music business. Amadeus has worked with many  artist such as 50 Cent, Chris Brown, T.I., Diddy, The Game and the list goes on. When he’s not producing for a number of artist as a member of Sean Comb’s Hitmen Production Team, he has also been Trey Songz musical director and lead drummer since 2007. Amadeus took the time to share footage of him performing with Trey  and he also detailed many of the ups and downs that producers or artist in general may go through in the music business. Starting his music career at an early age and also coming from the same environment as many of these kids, he’s a great example of hard work and dedication paying off. After viewing the footage of him performing, he fielded questions about his journey through the business and how important it is to have an education in the music industry basically just like any other industry. After the Q & A session, Amadeus gave out his signature drumsticks to a few aspiring drummers that were in attendance to inspire them to follow their dreams and show them no matter where from you can make it in music or any other field that you desire.
