Stop the press! An updated story has been published on TMZ’s website regarding the alleged Chris Brown incident. According to TMZ, Chris Browns lawyer is claiming extortion. Could Chris Brown be the victim of extortion? My last post outlines the alleged incident and allegations that were filed against Chris. In more recent news, according to TMZ, the alleged victim Malcolm Ausbon’s, lawyer Mark Geragos is demanding 250,000…OR ELSE…from Chris Brown, which is stated in a letter sent from Mark Geragos to Chris Browns lawyer, which was obtained by TMZ.
According to TMZ, if Chris decides not to pay, Malcolm will be placed in a position by the LAPD, where he will have to decide whether he will press charges. Of course Malcolm’s lawyer expressed that the alleged victim will rather be compensated, and according to TMZ, Browns lawyer finds that to be extortion that has been cleverly thought out and worded. According to TMZ, Chris Browns lawyer will be going after Malcolm by filing a police report.
The story gets more juicy when according to TMZ, a lawyer in Geragos office says he met with Ausbon’s attorney back in August and the guy admitted Brown never touched his client. Geragos’ lawyer says the other attorney said the guy who struck his client had dreadlocks and it was all captured on video. How shocking is that!!!
