Just when you thought Drake it was safe…
The popular Hip Hop Artist, Drake, has officially proven himself to be, “the chosen one,” as he continues to collect wins throughout his successful career.
Aside from gracing us with continuous hit records, and breaking down numerous barriers, Drake has also managed to put on an amazing annual OVO Fest in his Canadian home town.
Despite the festival’s history of bringing in major tourism dollars, the most recent act has managed to raise some eyebrows. This years fair will be supported by government funding, as Drake was awarded $300K from the Celebrate Ontario program, in efforts to promote Canada’s tourism initiative. Although the means of funding the fair has outraged many people, the show must go on!
This year we hear Outkast is set to perform, in addition to Drake and his crew. However, in the nature of the show, expect the unexpected, because Drake has proven that he plans to always put on a better show than the year before. Do you think the government funding will stop people from going to the show?
