Yesterday, while co-hosting “Under Lock & Key Entertainment TV,” I had the honor and privilege of bumping into hip hop’s legendary Kurtis Blow! Of course, without Kurtis Blow, there would be no What’s Hot in Hip Hop. He paved the way for all that has come since he first broke onto the scene, the first 
rapper to have commercial success as he was the first to sign with a major record label. He created opportunities for countless hip hop artists to do what had never been done before he came on the scene.
