Many say this topic isn’t Hip Hop, many say THEY don’t belong doing hip hop. The ironic thing is no matter who you are or what your lifestyle is and who you choose to love shouldn’t have anything to do with a passion. As an artist myself, I have encountered many people from all walks of life and one thing about music rather it be RnB, Hip Hop, Country music it is all universal the passion ignites us as artist.
I like to introduce you to the first Mc to openly embrace his sexuality. I have seen his success flourish, I have seen him work with the best artist and start his own label. His style, his music, his stage presence, his tracks are like no other. IzzI Q Rodriguez, was born & raised in the Lower East Side, New York City. Coming from an music inspired family, He always knew he wanted to entertain.
IzzI started working at Tower Records in the West Village at age 18, looking for a way in the music industry, later to become signed to Canadian American Music (Ursula Music) & studying audio recording & studio engineering. Working under the wings of the Legendary”Joey Welz” IzzI began to record his album, & founded “Star Strucked Records” in 2000 hoping to have the label build credit till IzzI was ready to drop his debut, many doubted, but, IzzI Insisted.After releasing his first music video “Si Yo Me Muero” on Mtv tr3s,IzzI had made himself a buzz in the indie music scene, and began touring in the U.S.

This Mc and business owner has years of experience under his belt. Izzi Starz is a voice & audio faculty member at House of Starz. He has over 15 years of training and teaching experience in voice, artist development, audio recording and acting and formal training, Izzi received his Master of Music from the Full Sail University with emphasis in Vocal Performance and Audio Engineering. Izzi has studied under several esteemed performers and educators .As far as Izzi’s professional background he founded Star Strucked Records and serves as the Company CEO & Master Audio Engineer for the community & Society of Pennsylvania. Prior to moving to Central Florida, Izzi established a music education program and worked there as a teacher. Additionally, Izzi served several years as singer / songwriter for Caprice International Records (Ursula Music) along side music legend Joey Welz for 15 years.

Mr. Rodriquez, I don’t know if Hip Hop will ever be ready for the openness of your journey or any other person that lives a lifestyle as they call it that you live. I know that your hard work and dedication to the game and as an artist who has always wanted to work with you, I don’t care who you love, who you are with as long as you are happy and are at peace with your journey I love it.
