Some of NYC’s finest, and I do mean finest, came out to The Dumbo Loft in Brooklyn last night for Glam Walk. Cosmo Girls Glam Event, Glam Walk, was a day filled with fashion, beauty and music so of course What’s Hot in Hip Hop was there to catch it all!
Cosmo Girls Glam Event was established 2011 by Valarie and Christina Person, a mother and daughter team. Their objective is to provide a platform for young upcoming entrepreneurs, fashion designers, models and music artists, giving them an opportunity to showcase their ideals, style and talents while donating funds to well deserving organizations including Breast Cancer Association, American Heart Association, Center Against Domestic Violence, and The Ralph Lauren Cancer Center.
Glam Walk was a fun and fashion filled night with a runway fashion show by Designer Stilts custom made shoes, fashion designers Fabric Twinz, Peta Chen Collections, AyMedici, & House Of Hot Cocoa-Lingerie. Music was provided by DJ Jaz, and performances by music artists Stilleta, Dave Tony, R&B singers Earl Dean, KFHox (yes, yours truly) & Joshua Mitchell. It was high energy event from the music to the models with some of Brooklyn’s who’s who in the building to support the show.
A portion of the proceeds from last night’s event will be donated to the WIN ORGANIZATION for Homeless Women. In addition to the money donated, the event was an opportunity for women entrepreneurs to unite and share their talents.
The event was hosted by Stuff Fly People Like‘s Rae Holliday. It was a great night of fashion, music, and networking for a great cause. Glam Walk is definitely what’s hot in hip hop!
If it’s not here, it’s not hot. This is what’s hot in hip hop!
