What’s good my WHIHH family. Your girl was in the building again at St. Louis‘ one and only Shoetique, L.A. Flava Shoetique
and guess who came out…the beautiful and smart “ex-assistant” to Ray J since 2006, Morgan Hardman.
This hard-working young woman holds multiple other titles and job descriptions than what the VH1 reality tv series lets on, of course consisting of assistant director and second AD on various videos for artists like Usher, Rick Ross, Nicki Minaj, P. Diddy and more. I had the opportunity to sit down with Morgan for a brief interview but it was not to waste time discussing the drama that happened on the show or the abuse she talked about her interview with The Breakfast Club on Power 105.1fm she endured from Ray J and previous relationships. She shared with me her upcoming ventures, goals and how she basically wanted to make a mark on the world. She has an upcoming event that is focusing on single mothers, teaming up with radio personality, Yesi Ortiz and local LA venues to put this uplifting event together. She’s also putting together a book and much more to come. But with all of that she still manages to keep her number 1 fan happy, the center of her life, her 11-year-old son, Lacorey.
I also had a brief moment to see the former hostess, turned video vixen, Masika Kalysha. She’s been featured in more than 80 music videos but she aspires to become a singer and actress. The reality star recently had the spot light turned on her as reports of domestic abuse between her and boyfriend Yung Berg surfaced after the taping of this season’s reunion episode in New York. She has released a statement since then saying, “It was not an abuse situation. He did not beat me. He did not knock me out. He did not beat me up. He was very drunk. It was to the point where he really didn’t know his bearings.” Hopefully with that piece of drama behind her she’s well on her way to success as a singer/actress. She has secured a role in a Playboy scripted series 7 Lives and on the upcoming feature film Prey. She was being a diva and I definitely didn’t want to interrupt her element. But she took a moment to get a picture with me!
