The Annual 47th NAACP Image Awards took place February 5th, 2016 at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium where Black Hollywood showed up and showed out.
I was expecting the ladies to slay the red carpet, but they did not. The men brought their A game. They definitely turned up their swagg by adding some color to the black tie affair.
Your host for the night, Anthony Anderson from the TV show Blackish, wore a wine tuxedo jacket and bow tie over black on black shirt and pants.
Bryshere Gray actor from Empire brought spring into winter with his mint colored blazer with black lapels and Swarovkski crystal cuff links over a white shirt and black pants.
Neil Brown from the movie Straight Out of Compton, rocked the red carpet in mid night blue.
Miles Brown from the TV show Blackish, this little fella came dappered out in his black and grey attire.
Who needs that other award show, when we know how to celebrate ourselves. The NAACP Image Awards delivered star power and black power.
