Behind the Scenes at The 59th Annual Grammy Awards

In less than a month, I’ll be getting on a plane and heading to Los Angeles, California to attend my first ever Grammy Awards ceremony. This year marked my first experience as a voting member of The Recording Academy, as well as my first time making it onto the first round ballot for this year’s Grammy Awards for “Best Pop Solo Performance” and “Song of the Year” for my song, “Daydream.” The song is all about having a dream in your heart and letting nothing stand in your way. And as I received my first ballot to vote on The Grammys, it felt so humbling to have my song, all about dreams coming true, directly underneath one of my musical heroes, Alicia Keys. Final round ballots were due last Friday and now, we wait to see what the stars hold for music’s elite.
