It is always humbling to see celebrities and people in the Entertainment business give back. Often times people don’t discuss the great things Celebs do but we at WHIHH always give credit when credit is due. I was elated to learn about Dj Self annual “Brooklyn Made Me” event.
The Prince of New York and entrepreneur , Dj Self along with a panel of 9 industry professionals and an educational panel have teamed up with Wood Stack NY to host this Brooklyn based brunch event for Juniors and Seniors in a private location. The event is Monday, December 18th 2017. The event is also Sponsored by Adidas and you can contact Lauren Media Group for all press related questions.
Last year was a great success!!! Dj Self provided the most important tool for over 300 plus Brooklyn based children and the community promoting “Health is Wealth” and his celebrity friends came out to show support and help with this amazing event. In attendance last year was Main0,Uncle Murda, the Cast of Love and Hip Hop and many more.
I am excited to see who comes out this year. You can rest assure Whats Hot In Hip Hop will be winning with team “Gwinnin” this year. We want to send a special thank you to Dj Self for his amazing philanthropy and dedication on reaching and teaching our Youth that you can do anything you want and the importance of staying in school and off the streets. Self has been reaching our youth for decades encouraging them to pursue and accomplish their goals, most of all pushing education first and foremost.
