Independent Bronx Artist ‘King Bless’ Reminds Us Where Hip Hop Got Its Pulse

NEW YORK, NY (May 2018) – With the sun finally taking its rightful place, New York is ready to partake in the sounds of King Bless. As the song goes, ‘but it wasn’t for the Bronx this rap thing probably wouldn’t be going on’, and King Bless reminds us why. Attracting the eyes and ears of some of the industry’s elite, Bless welcomes us into his world with the melodic and smooth “Love and Fear” featuring Dave East. Bar after bar, the flow is just unmatched.

Born to Cuban and Jamaican parents, Bless is a talented speaker and writer who is aggressive in nature. Bless took to battle rapping as a creative outlet. Studying the greats from Ransom to Jay Z, King Bless perfected his craft but a bump in the road landed him in prison. Not one to be defined by mistakes, Bless returned to his passion and focused on his dreams of making his mark in Hip Hop. Adding to his hustler spirit, Bless created his own label, Blue Chip Music Group and set forth to release his EP, ‘Fruition’ with 13 tracks carefully picked to describe his current state of mind. King Bless is the type of artist capable of expressing himself in a way that captivates any audience. There is no denying his exclusive style and motivating messages wrapped in blankets of analogies. This is a breath of fresh air in a world of “mumble rap”. The main thing that makes Bless different from any artist that’s out right now, it’s his real story, nothing fabricated.

On a non-stop ride to ensure that the world around knows his name, Bless will hold his official album release listening event at the “Loft in Flatiron”. Belaire, Touch Vodka, Yave Tequilla, and Essentia Water have committed to ensure the event is one not to be missed!

Press: 6pm-8pm.
